August 25: Guarani Language Day - Tribute To Ramon Silva and Kay'uhápe

The ATENEO GUARANI LANGUAGE AND CULTURE Kay'uhápe Program participated, Ramon Silva. The program is broadcast in Guarani language, on Channel 9 - SNT, Monday through Friday from 4:40 to 5:30 pm. On occasion Ramón Silva talked with David Galeano Olivera, Director General of the Athenaeum, on various issues related to the Guarani. The occasion also served to mark the Day of the Guarani language clarifying that-really-Ramón Silva celebrated Guarani Language Day every day of the year as the program is broadcast daily Kay'uhápe.

Kay'uhápe has over 15 years of uninterrupted broadcast on Channel 9 SNT and has an audience of millions both in Paraguay and abroad. The ATENEO GUARANI LANGUAGE AND CULTURE recognizes and commends the tireless, tenacious and successful work of Prof.Mg. Ramon Silva for the dissemination of Guarani Language and Culture, Popular Culture and Paraguay. In the more than 15 years in air the program Kay'uhápe became a bastion of Folklore and Paraguay Guarani. Many popular artists (musicians, dancers, poets, artisans, etc.) found in Kay'uhápe always more worthy space for promotion. It should be noted that accompanies and shares the efforts of Ramon, his brother, Miguel Fernandez, dynamic and efficient producer of Kay'uhápe. This month the ATENEO GUARANI LANGUAGE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE GUARANI pays a tribute to Ramón Silva taking his valuable work on behalf of the Guarani language.
