How to answer job interview questions
Do not worry, when people tell you an interview is a "year of sale." All we mean is that the interviewer needs to fill his position and just to show how to respond to this need.
Do you know what you need - The interviewer has advertised on vacation! And you have already shown the need met through your CV or application form to work!
Thus, in the interview, it is sufficient to demonstrate, through answering interview questions, how well you respond to this need and leave the decision to them.Be confident when answering interview questions. You can be nervous and will not be completely sure that your answer is what the interviewer expected, but still say it with conviction. Listen to all the questions before answering.
Sometimes, people only hear the first bit of a question, because I'm already thinking about the answer. They then miss the next bit.
For example: "Talk to me two of your strengths and give me examples for both."
Some people here the word "strength" and they go away ....... They list the strengths of 2, then stop, and I wonder why interviewers are looking for, as we expect more! Think before you speak. What might seem old to you, it really is not. Too many people jump as soon as the issue ends. Non If I did not understand the question, ask for clarification. The trust is to be able to say you do not understand without feeling stupid. If you can not think of an answer, ask to return to it. This is much better and shows more confidence to say anything, or refuses to talk about stuttering (people). Just say "I need a little 'time to think about that one. I can come back later?" Use persuasive language when answering interview questions. With this we intend to:
Do not say, when asked what you did in your current job:
"In my current job I did X and Y. Then I did Z".
Instead, use words like "Project Wizard", "voluntarily", "was asked" "successful".
"In my current job, I was asked to implement X. After that, I led a project team to implement Y. After that I volunteered to take X and successfully completed by the deadline."
Can you see that this is much better? You have an active voice in your own success, not just passively homework given to you. And be positive when answering interview questions. Do not use negative words or speak ill of your current job, boss or company. Instead talk about what you're looking for. Saying "I really enjoyed my last job, but I can not wait to move to a different challenge and use the skills I acquired," or something similar.Back statements with examples. If you describe one skill skill or experience, follow it with an example. Take the initiative. If not asked about something that you feel is important to raise the matter alone. After all, this is your only chance to sell yourself, so do not miss out. You can do this by adding at the end of "I have not had the opportunity to tell X. Do you mind if I take a few minutes to tell you?". Be consistent with your answers. Sometimes, interviewers may ask you the same thing twice, worded slightly differently as a way of checking out. Listen for yourself and for them. If you believe you made a mistake, to put things right by saying: "go back to what I said earlier about what they really meant was ..." ... Be careful not to talk too. When you have finished answering interview questions, do not be tempted to fill any awkward silences with nervous chatter. Sometimes, silence is used as a technique to see how it reacts. You can always run the cable to them by pleasantly saying "does that answer your question?"
